History:

1970: I was born Gennuary 9. My family were used to bring me offen in holidays, most of the times i was surrounded by the nature, that's why i feel so strong love for her.Still today i like to go high,on the mighty peaks, and breath pure air and drink pure water.Soon i began to feel a particular interest for the music.
1978: I had my first piano,and i began to study the basics.In this year my life changed also becouse my brother Manuel was born (gennuary 28).
1982: Always studying, my piano teacher was really severe,so mutch,that i was loosing the interest for the piano day by day.
1983: I stopped to take piano lessons.
1984: I was living a very "free style life",i was a kind of "bad boy".No one could tell me what i had to do or not to do. (like today)
1985: I bought an electric guitar.After some months i changed idea and i bought my first synth.
1986: I bought my first vinyl,was "the final countdown" from Europe.Later on i began to take piano lessons again, but i was interested in keyboards too...
1987: I had my first love story, with a girl living next door with me.
1988: In this year,a great band released their second album.This music miracle was called "transcendence", and it's still my favourite metal album ever! In this magic period i descovered many metal bands from the 80's.I also got my drive licence and my first car.
1989: Still studying piano.I began to search for my spiritual way,and from that moment on i will never stop.
1990: Was July,casually me and luca,we meet the first time during a stage of mental technics. (somehow we learn how to get big memory,higher "sensibilitys",and a full control of our mind) In the end of the stage, at dinner,we began to speak about music and we descovered to love the same bands,to have the same musical influences,and to have a big aim to reach.we agreeded to meet again. was december 31,we just had party together,then,from the new year on our life would not be the same anymore...
1991: I bought my korg 01/W pro,that i'm still using.Me and Luca we spent spring and summer to compose the first songs (also climbing mountains with our instruments...) Soon we found in Daniele Carbonera the right "mighty" drummer, and a bass player our friend.
1992/1993: Still composing, playing, rehearsing, and taking piano lessons.
1994: In october we finish to record our first demo tape called "land of immortals" containing songs that will appears in the first and the second studio Rhapsody albums.The songs were: Land of immortals,Warrior of ice,Rage of the winter and Riding the winds of eternity. The demotape was sented to selected europeans labels.In the end of the year we received an entusiastic offer from "LMP".
1995: An official demotape called "Eternal Glory" was released under LMP,and we receive the first positive comments.
1996: Year of deep preparation for the first studio album,we entered in studio in october.
1997: Still developing new ideas while recording.First time we meet Fabio, do you know the story? Production end of June. I began to do body building.
1998: Another year very busy for me and luca,composing new songs and working on some left ones. We decide to use just a name to describe our music: "Hollywood metal". The "Symphony of enchanted lands" production was the longest so far,4 months.
1999: Year of little rest time for me,but anyway doing interwiews,promo trips,meetings ecc... I started to compose songs for my first solo album.
2000: The year of our first tour as a support band for Stratovarius.As you know, we never played live before, and we were really excyted to meet our Rhapsody fans in Europe! And me, i could finally meet jens johansson and have some speach and fun with him.I found also another great keyboarder (and person,together with all "Sonata" and "strato" guys of course), Mikko Harkin. A sad note was that Daniele was not in the band anymore. After the tour we had to finish the compositions for "Dawn of victory".In 3 months the album was recorded.Holy thunderforce was rappresenting a new rough way of composing, (just the beginning).
2001: The year of the metal festivals, 5 shows around Europe and a successful headliner tour in South America,really a great audience! All over this year,using the left time,we focus in new songs to rappresent the end of the saga. We decide also to make a present to our fans, a "mini" album 42 minutes long, the production was again about almost 4 months.
2002: The new album, Power of the dragonflame will be released March 18, and an European headliner tour will start from April 2, and finally we'll go to Japan to play 4 gigs from Mai 1. This year we'll play also at "bang your head" festival. In this year me and luca, we'll decide about the musical future of the band. (to tell you the truth, we already decided...) OK OK!! i tell you everything! First of all, me and luca we'll meet around the beginning of the summer to write some new songs for a "killer" album. This project it's called "Rhapsody in black". Just in a few words, to let you understand what i'm speaking about, i would say that this album will sound "really" heavy, you will understand more, listening from the new album the song "When demons awake".Then, imagine a full lenght album with songs in this direction...,plus special guests,female opera singers,dark, gothic, horror and black atmospheres!...we will tell you more very soon! And then...our biggest aim: Me and luca, shocked from seeing the movie "lord of the rings", we decided to write Rhapsody music for this great saga.While the movie was showing atmospheres, landscapes, ambients, ecc we really though to "see" what me and luca we imagine to see composing Rhapsody music!!! In this album a big orchestra will play,couse we won't miss an extremely good and involving sound We'll tell you more at the right moment.That's all for now! See you soon!!!
